I am mother to three, clinical psychologist, professor, company climate consultant, and holistic restorative coach. I've been overworking and overproducing for 20+ years in pursuit of "having it all" - but at what cost?

Over the past few years, I've become painfully aware of the ways that I have pushed myself aside and delayed my life balance to serve systems that don't serve me -- to "take one for the team", to "make the safe choice", to develop "stability", to "put my kids first", or the help the "greater good."

Now I provide holistic restorative coaching and consultation services  to help women RECOVER from life circumstances and mindsets that keep them stuck in unfulfilling situations so they can RECONNECT with their true values and priorities to live their best authentic fulfilling life.

As a Holistic Restorative Coach, I leverage my training and experience as a clinical psychologist with expertise in evidence-based practices to help my coaching clients clarify and pursue their goals in any meaningful part of their life.  I can be your empowerment coach, professional coach, relationship coach, parenting coach, and mindset coach all at once - how efficient!!  Book your free restorative coaching consultation session on the schedule below.

If you have a particular interest in addiction treatment and prevention,  I have a particular passion for helping parents, caregivers, educators, and policy makers consider innovative strategies and frameworks to improve addiction resistance.  I’ve spent the past 20+ years studying addiction and providing evidence-based addiction treatment, and I’ve helped hundreds (maybe thousands?) of clients and students understand why one person develops addiction when another doesn’t. These experiences inform my most important challenge - how do I help my three young daughters navigate this world that will never be “drug-free” without developing addiction?  I've designed Raising Resilient and Addiction-Resistant Kids for parents and caregivers looking for an alternative to typical anti-drug guidance that focuses exclusively on abstinence-only goals and zero-tolerance policies.

Fun Facts About Me

  • I'm the oldest of four kids, and my youngest sibling is 17 years younger than me.
  • I wish I had more time to ride horses and scuba dive.
  • I love sushi, Tex-Mex, and a good medium-rare steak.
  • For some reason, I love images of pineapples wearing sunglasses.
  • I love fantasy books/shows/movies.... especially Harry Potter, Stranger Things, and most (but not all) zombie shows.
  • All of my daughters have 2-syllable first names and 1-syllable middle names, which makes them sound particularly southern.
